I had a surprisingly great time! The meals were fantastic, especially the Sunday roast, and the karaoke night was a blast despite the early morning disturbance from a rowdy guest.

Great vibes and tasty food
I popped in for a drink and Sunday lunch with my wife. The bar area was clean and had a chill vibe. We opted for the medium lunch and wow, it was a generous portion! Beer was good, too, about £3.20 a pint. Just a heads-up, the location could be a bit tricky to find at first.

Had a blast with some fresh local brews! The bar staff, especially the two ladies, were charming—no complaints there!
But then the vibe turned sour. And don't get me started on the bangers until the wee hours—thin walls turned our stay into an eavesdropping party.

A last-minute visit turned into a delightful surprise. The modern and exceptionally clean twin room exceeded expectations, while the hearty pub grub, including delicious smoked fish, was a standout. The lively karaoke night added a fun twist to our evening. the noise level was a bit overwhelming at times, and though the atmosphere was engaging, it may not suit everyone. It's definitely a place I'd recommend for its friendly staff and enjoyable amenities, and I'm eager to return with the family.

I had a lovely stay with my family in a spacious family room where the beds were super comfy and the bathroom was spotless. The kids loved the sun terrace for some fun in the sun, and we enjoyed the lively karaoke nights in the bar. Just a heads up, the parking situation was a bit tricky, so arriving early might help with that! 😊

had a great time at kings head inn. the staff were super friendly n really welcomed us. loved the food, especially the sunday roast, it was like home cooked and portion size was huge. room was clean n comfy which was nice after a long day out. the karaoke night was such a blast too, everyone seemed to enjoy it.
but the hot water in the shower was a bit dodgy n we had a lot of noise from downstairs at night that made it hard to sleep.

Modern twin room with surprising cleanliness and amenities exceeded expectations. Enjoyable weekly karaoke event created a lively atmosphere and offered a fun night for both couples and groups.
Food options could use improvement. some standard meals like steaks and pies were unavailable during the visit. The bar area felt quieter at times, which might not appeal to those looking for a more vibrant late-night scene.

Stay could use a facelift
So, we booked 5 rooms and started off on the wrong foot with wrong pricing. Our honeymoon suite was decent but had a moldy ceiling and no light bulbs in the lamps! The karaoke was so loud, we barely slept. Dinner was hit or miss but brekkie was okay. They have a nice outdoor dining area though!

Perfect for family trips
The staff here are friendly, really friendly. Food was marvellous, especially the Sunday lunch. Can't forget how welcoming they were after a long drive – made us feel at home instantly.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but I guess that's acceptable given the quality.
